Zentangles: working with Elements of Art

Zentangles are a form of controlled doodling.
When people doodle, they use the visual part of their brain, their right brain. By paying less attention to left brain activities (reading, writing, logical thinking) the brain relaxes and can slip into an almost trance-like state. Making zentangles is an excellent way to relax before a test, a visit to the dentist, or giving a speach.
Our students used zentangles to practice drawing their elements of art.
